A Florida judge found the hoax lawsuit filed against Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel just as ridiculous as the rest of the world, and dismissed the suit, TMZ reports.
The bogus suit was seeking $25 million in damages as well as a restraining order against Manziel, claiming the former Heisman Trophy winner sexually harassed HLN television host Samantha Schacher by sending her nude pictures and videos of himself.
The lawsuit wasn’t filed by Schacher, but rather by a man named Jonathan Lee Riches, who is a convicted felon known for filing frivolous lawsuits.
Judge Steven D. Merryday called the suit “immaterial, impertinent and scandalous.”
