Buffalo Bills fan Robert Hopkins was found guilty of second-degree reckless endangerment and third-degree assault Tuesday, in large part because of the video evidence that was pulled from Ralph Wilson Stadium’s surveillance footage.

Hopkins fell from the upper level of the stadium onto another fan back on Nov. 17, sending the spectator below to the hospital with head and neck injuries.

Prior to the release of the surveillance video, a distant video from CBS’ telecast was the only known footage of the incident. Here’s the video from the Bills that was used to convict Hopkins:

The guilty fan already has been banned from Ralph Wilson Stadium for life and could face up to two years in jail.
