Mariano Rivera is back with the New York Yankees. Sort of.

The Bronx Bombers drafted Rivera’s son, Mariano Rivera III, with the 872nd pick in the 2014 MLB draft. Rivera is a sophomore at Iona College, where he started 12 games and pitched five complete games in 2014. He posted a 2-5 record with a 5.40 ERA in 70 innings pitched, with a fastball that toppped out at 92 mph, according to SB Nation. [tweet align=’center’]

Rivera will pitch for the Laconia Muskrats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League this summer.
