After legendary Baseball Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn died from cancer on June 16, he was honored with tributes from much of the MLB community and its fans.
One particularly cool tribute came from the U-T San Diego.
Gwynn spent his entire 20-year career with the San Diego Padres, so the newspaper paid its respects to the former right fielder by substituting the temperatures on their weather map with his batting average in every city he ever played in.

This was probably one of the best tributes to Gwynn’s career, as it showed just how great of a hitter he was.
