Boston Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron is on (an early) summer vacation, but B’s fans want to make sure he wins one more time before the NHL season comes to an end.

Bergeron is one of two finalists for EA Sports’ “NHL 15” cover vote contest, and he’s in the running against Montreal defensemen P.K. Subban. Voting for who will be on the cover of the video game wrapped up Sunday after a long social media push from both teams to get their players on the cover.

Bruins fans tweeted over and over and over again using the “#NHL15Bergeron” hashtag, and the efforts were appreciated by the Boston forward. He made a video thanking fans that was released by the Bruins on Sunday night just as voting finished.

The winner of the cover vote will be announced on June 24 at the NHL awards ceremony in Las Vegas. That could end up being a big night for Bergeron, who is also a finalist for the Selke Trophy as the NHL’s best defensive forward.
