Pats Hold OTAs In Soggy Weather; Jimmy Garoppolo Shows Promise (Video)


The New England Patriots hold organized team activities and practices rain or shine.

While this probably doesn’t come as a surprise to New Englanders, it’s still a good way to see how rookies who aren’t used to the inclement weather hold up.

Most of the veterans were used to Thursday’s soggy weather, but newly-acquired quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo struggled a bit in his first practice in the Foxboro rain. Still, his teammates said they like what they see from Garoppolo — who could be Tom Brady’s successor — so far.
