Second Overtime, 9:17, 2-2: Rangers winger Rick Nash just had a wide open net. Literally, the entire net was open. But his shot was deflected by Slava Voynov’s stick and out of play. It was the best scoring chance of the overtime periods.

9:30 a.m. ET: The Los Angeles Kings weren’t able to clinch their second Stanley Cup title in three years Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden, but they have a chance to lift the best trophy in sports in front of their home fans Friday night in Game 5.

A strong argument could be made that the Kings were a much better team than the New York Rangers in Game 4. After all, they out-shot the Rangers 15-1 in the third period and had horrible some horrible luck when the puck sat on the goal line twice and didn’t go in.

New York needs another stellar performance from goaltender Henrik Lundqvist to take this series back to MSG. The 32-year-old netminder is 5-0 with a 1.00 goals against average and a .971 save percentage in elimination games this postseason, but he’s 0-2 with eight goals against at Staples Center in this Cup Final.

Will the Kings lift the Cup tonight, or will the Rangers take another step toward becoming the second team to ever win a title after trailing 3-0 in the championship series?
