Kevin WililamsFOXBORO, Mass. — Kevin Williams’ plea for a call from the New England Patriots seems to have worked.

Williams is visiting the Patriots on Thursday, CSNNE.com’s Tom E. Curran reported. Williams, 33, has spent his entire 11-year career with the Minnesota Vikings.

The five-time All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowl selection has 60 career sacks and 463 tackles in his long career. He recorded 3.5 sacks in 2013 with eight quarterback hits and 14 hurries, according to ProFootballFocus.com.

The Patriots added first-round draft pick Dominique Easley to an impressive, but unreliable defensive tackle corps that also includes Vince Wilfork, Tommy Kelly, Armond Armstead, Sealver Siliga and Chris Jones.

Easley and Kelly are recovering from torn ACLs, while Wilfork is returning from a torn Achilles and Armstead missed last season with an infection.
