This leaves 19 teams that have a chance to acquire the 30-year-old center if interested.

The landing spots that make sense are the Anaheim Ducks, St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks. All of these teams are in the Western Conference, have a Stanley Cup-caliber roster and need a No. 2 center.

Spezza tallied 66 points (23 goals, 43 assists) in 75 games this season. He has one more year left on his contract that includes a $7 million salary cap hit.

The former No. 2 overall draft pick has spent his entire 11-year NHL career in Ottawa.
