Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is set to make $10.5 million in base salary over the next two years, but he just doesn’t feel that’s enough.
Beast Mode didn’t show up for the Seahawks’ organized team activities, and nobody really knows if he’ll be at Seattle’s mandatory minicamp on June 17 unless the Super Bowl champion gets a raise, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports, citing a source.

In fact, if he doesn’t get more money from the Seahawks, the 28-year-old might even consider retiring, according to teammate Jordan Babineaux.
“We actually went out last week when I was in Seattle and he and I had a conversation and had a drink,” Babineaux said on the NFL Network. “The bottom line is, it is about the money. When a guy starts producing the way Marshawn has been producing, he wants to be paid.”
“I don’t want to rule out the fact that there could still be a possibility, because of Marshawn’s personality, that retirement could just be something that he’s okay settling for,” Babineaux went on to tell the Seattle Times.
