2014 NFL DraftThe NFL confirmed Thursday that the 2015 draft would not be held at Radio City Music Hall, but they did not rule out New York as the host city.

But on Friday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that sources are saying that New York is the least likely city to be the home of next year’s draft.

Scheduling issues are expected to be the cause if the draft is not held in New York for the first time since 1965. They’re the reason that it can’t be at Radio City, and it will be very difficult to fit in a three-day event around the NHL and NBA schedules at major NYC venues like Madison Square Garden and the Barclays Center.

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy tweeted that the league was focusing on New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago for next year, but Schefter listed many other options, including Boston.
