Rickie Fowler has taken Throwback Thursday to an entirely new level in the first round of the U.S. Open.
The 25-year-old donned a pair of knickers in honor of the late Payne Stewart’s accomplishments at Pinehurst Resort, the 2014 venue for the tournament. Stewart won the 1999 U.S. Open at Pinehurst and died just a few months later.
