Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to useĀ a tarp as a giant Slip ‘N Slide during a rain delay. Or something like that.

The San Diego Padres had some time to killĀ before Tuesday night’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park when a massive storm rolled through and forced the tarp to be rolled out. That’s not usually a sight that players like to see, but a couple of them decided to take full advantage of the situation.

San Diego’s Yasmani Grandal and Everth Cabrera did what every person wants to do in this caseĀ andĀ relived someĀ awesome childhood memories as they slid across the rain-soaked tarp.

It was all fun and games for Grandal and Carbera — who has spectacular Slip ‘N Slide form — until a Phillies grounds crew member rained on their already rain-filled parade.
