Tom Werner: Tony Gwynn Had An ‘Extraordinary Work Ethic’

Boston Red Sox chairman Tom Werner joined NESN’s “Red Sox Gameday Live” set on Yawkey Way before Monday night’s game to remember San Diego Padres legend Tony Gwynn.

Gwynn died Monday at the age of 54.

Werner, a former owner of the Padres, said the Baseball Hall of Famer was “a joy to be around” and displayed an “extraordinary work ethic.”
