The Boston Red Sox welcomed a special guest to Fenway Park on Sunday.
Wally the Green Monster was joined by his dad, Walter, for the Red Sox’s series finale against the Cleveland Indians. The duo spent Father’s Day roaming the ballpark and soaking up the atmosphere.
We all know Wally’s an energetic fellow. Apparently, he gets his enthusiasm from Walter, who met David Ortiz and interacted with fans throughout the afternoon. Walter even went a little overboard while feasting at Fenway’s EMC Club.
The only thing that would have made the day better for the father-son tandem would have been a Red Sox win.
