New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira might have found a new career for himself — web show star.

Despite missing some time in 2014 with a persistent wrist injury, Teixeira has been working on his own internet show, put together by the YES Network, called “Foul Territory with Mark Teixeira.” On the show, Teixeira conducts interviews with on-air personalities and players in a style similar to that of Zach Galifinakis on “Between Two Ferns.”

The first baseman starts the show by standing in the cramped right field corner of the Yankees spring training facility, complaining about the small space. He then asks his interviewees very simple questions and does a good job looking awkward in the process. In an interview with YES Network’s Jack Curry, Teixeira asks, “Do you like your job?” right after Curry explains that Teixeira should not be asking those yes-or-no questions.

He also interviews fellow teammate Brian McCann about their time with the Atlanta Braves organization in an equally uncomfortable manner.

He’s killing the comedy game this year, but the Yankees might want him to improve on his .238 batting average.
