Sure, Belgium fell to Argentina 1-0 in a quarterfinal matchup, but 17-year-old Axelle Despiegelaere is leaving Brazil a winner.
The beautiful blonde, who was decked out in her country’s colors of red, black and yellow, was simply rooting on her team when they were taking on Russia on June 22 when some photos were taken of her. It didn’t take long for the photographs to go viral, and it took even less time for the young fan to sign a modeling contract.

Four days after becoming a worldwide sensation, Despiegelaere set up a Facebook page — which has 18,000 likes and counting — and on Tuesday, she announced that she had signed a contract with L’Oreal.
