The MLB season can get tedious at times, so teams sometimes resort to hosting special “theme nights” to spice things up.

It’s safe to say that the Arizona Diamondbacks just raised the bar.

The Diamondbacks hosted “Star Wars Day” at Chase Field on Sunday for their game against the Chicago Cubs. The D-backs certainly aren’t the first team to host a Star Wars-themed event, but they did it better than everyone else.

Take it away, Chewbacca and Storm Trooper.

That’s Steve Berthiaume and Bob Brenly, the broadcasting team for FOX Sports Arizona, fully embracing the theme of the day and not missing a single beat in the process.

If these perfect costumes don’t convince you that the Diamondbacks went all out for the day, here’s the promo video the team sent out to fans.

To top it all off, Arizona went on to win 3-2 after an amazing play by Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo allowed the go-ahead run to score thanks to an obscure rule.

We wouldn’t be surprised if the D-backs used some Jedi mind tricks to make that happen.
