After USA goalkeeper Tim Howard made a World Cup-record 16 saves Tuesday against Belgium, some soccer fans thought it’d be funny to change his title on a Wikipedia page to U.S. Secretary of Defense.

Luckily, the real U.S. Secretary of Defense has a good sense of humor.

“Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel called U.S. Men’s National Team goalkeeper Tim Howard to thank him for defending the United States of America at the World Cup,” said a statement released by the Pentagon. “Secretary Hagel congratulated Howard on his record-breaking game and a great run in Brazil. He invited Howard and the entire team to come to the Pentagon later this year. He told Howard that with some training, he could someday become the real secretary of defense.”

While there has been a small effort to actually appoint Howard as defense secretary, we have a feeling that won’t actually happen. It’s good to see he could get some pointers, though, just in case.
