David Ortiz is a fun-loving guy off the field, but on the field, he’s all business.
This was extremely apparent Saturday night during the Boston Red Sox’s game against the Houston Astros.
Orbit, the Astros’ mascot, tried to rile up Big Papi during the seventh inning while he was in the on-deck circle, but Ortiz wasn’t having it. As Orbit waved and shook his belly at Ortiz, the big designated hitter didn’t so much as glance at the furry outer-space creature.
Orbit’s shenanigans ended up going for naught, as Ortiz was intentionally walked during his ensuing plate appearance.
