Chicago Cubs v Boston Red SoxThe Boston Red Sox will take on the Baltimore Orioles for a second time on Saturday as part of a day-night doubleheader. Luckily, they’ll be playing Game 2 with some fresh bats.

David Ortiz returns to the lineup after missing the afternoon game due to a family commitment. The big designated hitter will bat cleanup, while A.J. Pierzynski, who filled in for Ortiz at DH in Game 1, will catch for John Lackey and bat seventh.

Mookie Betts will also return to the lineup, playing center field in a reconfigured outfield and batting ninth. Jonny Gomes will man left and bat seventh. Daniel Nava will take over in right field as Brock Holt shifts to third base. Holt and Nava will bat first and second respectively. The shift leaves Xander Bogaerts and Jackie Bradley Jr. on the bench.

Lackey will be looking to help guide the Sox to back-to-back wins, as Boston took Game 1 against Baltimore 3-2. He’ll face Ubaldo Jimenez, who has the lowest run support average in the American League.
