Derek Jeter had a performance to remember in his final MLB All-Star Game Tuesday night in Minneapolis.
Naturally, he did it in style.
Jeter will retire at the end of the 2014 season, so to honor the last of his 14 appearances in the Midsummer Classic, the Nike shoe brand Jordan designed a custom-made pair of cleats for the New York Yankees captain to wear in the game.

If you look closely, you’ll notice that the cleats list all of the cities where Jeter has played an All-Star Game. They also pay tribute to the Most Valuable Player Award that Jeter won at the 2000 Midsummer Classic.
The Jordan brand’s homage to The Captain didn’t stop there, as the company used FOX’s broadcast to roll out its star-studded “RE2PECT” ad that surfaced online earlier in the week.
Jeter did his part to make sure his farewell tour went according to plan, going 2-for-2 with a double and exiting the game in the 4th inning to a prolonged standing ovation.
