Mats HummelsBorussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp extinguished any rumors about two of his star players being sold to other clubs.

Mats Hummels and Marco Reus have been getting attention from top European clubs for their services. Among the clubs that have shown interest in acquiring Hummels is Manchester United, which has reportedly put a 20 million euro bid on him.

However, Klopp isn’t having any of it.

He spoke to the Ruhr Nachrichten newspaper and quelled the rumors.

“What was today’s rumor? Mats to Man U? For how much? 20 million? For a sum like that, you can forget about it anyway,” Klopp said.

While Reus missed the 2014 FIFA World Cup and will be out for the start of the regular season due to an ankle injury, fellow countryman Hummels scored two goals for Germany in the tournament including the lone goal against France in the quarterfinals.
