Keelan JohnsonPhiladelphia Eagles safety Keelan Johnson is in trouble.

The former Arizona State Sun Devil was arrested for assaulting a police officer, passively resisting arrest and disorderly conduct outside of a Tempe, Ariz., bar early Monday morning, per KTAR news in Arizona.

Police say Johnson was standing outside of the bar when an acquaintance was detained for being involved in an earlier fight. The safety started shouting at police officers as they were detaining him. After police asked him to step back, Johnson refused, so the cops physically tried to move him back. That’s when Johnson shoved the officer and a fight ensued.

The police report also says that Johnson appeared to be drunk.

Johnson signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent last season. After being cut by Miami, he was signed to the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice squad. He played in two games for the Eagles last season, recording one tackle.
