Eddie Lack Invites Ryan Miller To Dinner; Roberto Luongo Not Buying It

The Vancouver Canucks acquired free agent Ryan Miller on Tuesday, giving the goalie a three-year deal worth a reported $18 million.

The Canucks haven’t had much success with goalies since trading away Roberto Luongo and Cory Schneider, and Miller is a consistently good netminder and was the best goalie on the market. Needless to say, that made a lot of Canucks happy.

Goalie Eddie Lack was one of those Canucks.

Lack tweeted a dinner request to his new fellow goalkeeper, to which Miller eagerly obliged.

However, Luongo, who lost his starting job to Lack and was traded to the Florida Panthers last season, had to put in his two cents.
