Kevin Kolb DrunkThings have gone from bad to worse for Kevin Kolb.

After a serious concussion led to his eventual release from the Buffalo Bills, Kolb made headlines Saturday when he was arrested in Texas on a boating while intoxicated charge, the Willacy County Sheriff’s office confirmed to 956sports.com.

The quarterback spent close to 12 hours in jail before being released on a personal recognizance bond.

The arrest is the latest in a string of bad luck for the former Arizona Cardinal and Philadelphia Eagle. After Kolb signed a two-year contract with the Bills in 2013, he suffered a concussion in the preseason and never played a game. Rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel won the starting job for Buffalo, and Kolb was released this spring.

Kolb has thrown 28 touchdown passes and 25 interceptions in 34 career games. He’s currently a free agent.
