Friday’s Boston Red Sox-Baltimore Orioles game at Fenway Park has been postponed because of incoming Tropical Storm Arthur.

Telvent DTN, the Red Sox’s professional weather service, said there will be heavy rain storms throughout the day, and The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Boston and southern New England.

Friday’s matchup has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 5, at 1:05 p.m. as part of a day-night doubleheader, and Jon Lester will pitch for the Red Sox. Tickets for Friday’s game will be good for admission to Saturday’s first game.

The second game is scheduled to start at 7:15 p.m., with John Lackey taking the hill for Boston.

Lester will match up with Orioles right-hander Miguel Gonzalez, and Lackey will take on Ubaldo Jimenez.
