Game-Used Johnny Manziel Texas A&M Jersey Estimated To Sell For $100K

An auction house believes someone is bold enough to shell out $100,000 for a Johnny Football jersey.

ESPN’s Darren Rovell reports that auctioneer SPC Auctions estimates a game-used Texas A&M Johnny Manziel jersey worn by the quarterback throughout his Heisman-winning season will sell for $100,000.

If that does happen, it will set the record for the highest price paid for a college football jersey.

What makes the jersey so valuable is that it’s the only uniform from Manziel’s college career that has emerged on the market. He wore the jersey in all six of his home games at Kyle Field during his Heisman-winning season.

Manziel has also autographed the jersey using a silver metallic pen with his name and stats from his Heisman season.

The auction runs from Aug. 6 thru Aug. 23 and the jersey will be displayed in Cleveland at the National Sports Collectors Convention.
