University of Georgia wide receiver Chris Conley is a man of many diverse talents.

The rising senior, who has racked up 81 career receptions, 1,281 yards and 12 touchdowns as a Bulldog, might be better known for his accomplishments on the field, but football is far from his only love. Conley also shares a pretty strong affinity for  all things “Star Wars,” going so far as to occasionally dress up like a Jedi around campus.

Conley took his fandom one step further during the offseason, though, as he wrote, directed and starred in a 26-minute Star Wars-inspired fan film entitled “Retribution.”

Conley stars as the main villain in the video, Khari Vion, who has been exiled for attempting to force students to wear jean shorts. No, wait, it gets better. Georgia coach Mark Richt, star running back Todd Gurley and the Georgia mascot all make cameos in the epic film that takes place on the UGA campus. While the entire video is entertaining, the absolute best scene includes a lightsaber battle on the field of the team’s iconic Sanford Stadium.

If a career in football doesn’t pan out for Conley, he’s got a pretty bright future in filmmaking ahead of him.
