Gisele Bundchen, wife of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, has been one of Brazil’s biggest fans during the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The Brazilian supermodel was extremely excited for Tuesday’s semifinal between the host nation and Germany in Belo Horizonte. She shared this photo on Instagram before the game:
Any enthusiasm Brazil fans had entering the game was quickly erased when Germany built a gigantic lead. The Germans led by five goals at halftime and cruised to a 7-1 win, handing Brazil the worst semifinal loss in World Cup history.
Understandably, Gisele was devastated afterward.
Brazil will play the loser of the Argentina-Netherlands semifinal in the third-place game. Germany advances to the World Cup final, with support from one of Gisele’s Victoria’s Secret modeling pals, Heidi Klum.
