Jack White’s depressing tour of Major League Baseball rolls on.

After White made a mopey-faced appearance at Wrigley Field last week, the former White Stripes frontman traveled back to his native Detroit to throw out the first pitch at Tuesday’s Tigers-White Sox game. And, boy, was he pumped up about it.

If you can’t believe that’s actually White and not just a wax model of him, here’s a video of the pitch. Oh yeah, and he threw it to Santa Claus.

Apparently feeding off White’s enthusiasm, the Tigers proceeded to get smoked on their home field, allowing seven seventh-inning runs in an 11-4 loss.
