James Harden Responds To Chandler Parsons Beef Through Clueless Tweets

James Harden Chandler ParsonsChandler Parsons agreed to an offer sheet with the Dallas Mavericks on July 10 worth $45 million over three years. The Houston Rockets elected not to match the offer for the 25-year-old small forward.

That left Parsons, who averaged 16.6 points per game last season, feeling a bit offended.

“They publicly said that they were going out looking for a third star when I thought they had one right in front of them,” Parsons said.

The saga continued, when former teammate James Harden said the Houston Rockets would be “fine” next season because all the team lost was “role players.” Parsons took exception, saying Harden’s comments were “ridiculous.”

Harden responded on Friday, sort of, with a series of clueless tweets.

Harden went on to respond to more fans, continuing to steer away from saying anything that would cause drama.

And here’s the most affectionate tweet of them all, saying he’s going to miss his ex-teammate.

So Parsons is a “role player” that the Rockets could afford to lose, but now Harden is going to miss him?
