Jonny Gomes’ love for America knows no bounds.

The Boston Red Sox outfielder showed his appreciation for the USA during his team’s trip to the White House back in April, wearing a dashing red, white and blue American flag blazer. Now, with all eyes on the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, Gomes reached back into his closet (probably not very far) for more ‘Merica gear.

Before Team USA and Belgium squared off in the Round of 16 on Tuesday, Gomes dusted off an American flag tank top and paired it with — you guessed it — American flag shorts during Red Sox batting practice at Fenway Park.

It’s safe to assume that Gomes believes.

While Gomes’ patriotic attire certainly is the focal point of the picture, be sure to notice David Ross in the background flexing his bulging biceps right behind his teammate in the cage.
