Leafs’ Peter Holland Signs New Contract, Sinks Hole-In-One On Same Day (Photo)

Peter Holland won’t soon forget Wednesday, July 16, 2014.

The veteran NHL forward signed a new contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs, then sunk a hole-in-one later in the day on the golf course.

According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, the Leafs and Holland agreed to a two-year, one-way deal worth $775,00 per season. Holland tallied 10 points (five goals, five assists) in 39 games for the Leafs last season, while also posting 10 points (five goals, five assists) in 14 games for the Toronto Marlies of the AHL.

Holland has 10 career goals as an NHL player, and none of them were as impressive as his hole-in-one.
