LeBron James has become quite the controversial player over the last week or so.
When the four-time NBA MVP stopped the basketball world in its tracks last Friday by announcing that he would be returning home to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers, he left many fans in his home state conflicted about seeing the guy who ditched them four years ago return home like a knight in shining armor.
Those feelings can be hard to describe. Thankfully, that’s nothing a spot-on “Dumb and Dumber” quote can’t fix.

The video, produced by YouTube user Tag McNamara of 18 Lives Productions, replaces Lloyd with LeBron in the classic scene from the 1994 film where Lloyd returns to give Harry a ride after leaving him out to dry.
The clip is genius, as are LeBron’s awesome facial expressions as he comes to save the day.
Some Cleveland fans might still be up in the air about James’ return, but if he can bring an NBA championship to title-starved Northeast Ohio, he will indeed “totally redeem himself.”
