Though LeBron James is their top target this offseason, the Miami Heat are pursuing other free agents in an attempt to keep the star forward with the team.
The Heat did just that Monday afternoon, as they reportedly agreed with forwards Danny Granger and Josh McRoberts on multiyear contracts.

Team president Pat Riley later confirmed the team’s intention to sign the two forwards in a statement.
McRoberts’ deal is worth $23 million and includes a player option after the third season, as reported by ESPN. McRoberts played for the Charlotte Hornets last season and excelled at power forward. He averaged 8.5 points, 4.3 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game.
Before the Heat closed the deal on McRoberts, the Hornets also pursued the forward, but to no avail.
Granger split time with the Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Clippers last season, averaging 8.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in 41 contests.
The two deals come after rumors linked James back with his original team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Heat might not be done adding other pieces, though, as they’re also interested in adding players such as Luol Deng or Pau Gasol, as reported by ESPN.
