Is there anything Mike Trout doesn’t do exceptionally well?

During the 2014 Major League Baseball All-Star game, the Los Angeles Angels phenom showed off his speed, absolutely flying around the basepaths during the first inning. After Derek Jeter led off the bottom of the frame with a double, Trout drove the New York Yankees shortstop in with an RBI triple to give the American League an early 1-0 lead.

While it was evident that Trout was chugging around the bases, MLBAM’s Statcast technology showed us exactly how speedy the big man was at Target Field, topping the 20-mph mark near second base.

Trout’s burst of speed was just a footnote in his all-around stellar night, though, as he went 2-for-3 and added a double and two RBIs to go along with his triple en route to winning MVP honors.

Not a bad night for a 22-year-old.
