Single-game tickets for the Minnesota Vikings went on sale Tuesday, and they didn’t exactly get the turnout they were expecting.

CBS Minnesota affiliate WCCO snapped a photo of a single fan waiting in line to purchase tickets.

Anthony Williams said he arrived at the ticket office at 5:40 a.m., and WCCO noted that even when more people arrived over an hour later, it was only a “handful” of people.

“I probably could have slept in a little while, later and still been first in line,” Williams said.

This isn’t the first time Williams has arrived early to purchase tickets, but it is the first time he’s been the only one.

“I don’t know what’s changed, with switching to TCF Bank Stadium I would think there would be more people here,” Williams said. “Who knows?”

Though you have to assume that most people would have elected to purchase tickets online out of convenience, there were advantages to showing up in person. The Vikings’ ticket office opened an hour before online sales began, and and buyers didn’t have to pay taxes.
