You might think that LeBron James’ procrastination on choosing between No. 6 or No. 23 for the upcoming NBA season would deter some fans from purchasing his jersey.

Fans will wait until he chooses a number, then buy the jersey in order to make sure they had the correct number on the back once he finally decided. Makes sense, right?

Wrong.

It appears as though nobody has waited, as James’ Cleveland Cavaliers home, away and alternate jerseys are temporarily sold out of the NBA’s store, as first pointed out by ESPN’s Darren Rovell.

We’re sure that the store will quickly restock James uniforms, as he’s apparently making a bit of money for the league.

The question now becomes: does a fan who purchases a jersey with the wrong number buy another one once James decides? That’s double the fun for NBA coin collectors.
