Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado has great range and a powerful arm, and he displayed both during Wednesday night’s game against the Los Angeles Angels.
Angels first baseman Albert Pujols hit a ball down the third base line, forcing Machado to field it in foul territory. The Orioles star immediately turned and fired toward first base. His throw got to the bag in plenty of time for the out, and for some reason, Pujols slid feet-first into the base.
Machado received a standing ovation from the Baltimore fans at Camden Yards.
