NFL training camps begin in about a week, and Green Bay Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk recently showed that he looks ready for the new season, although he did so in an odd way.
Hawk is in Lake Tahoe for the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament, the annual pro-am tournament that brings out stars from everywhere, especially the NFL.
That’s where an overzealous (and perhaps overserved?) member of the gallery had an odd request of Hawk. The fan wanted to be tackled by Hawk. Like anyone who enjoys inflicting pain on other human beings, Hawk obliged.
This isn’t the first time Hawk has gotten physical on the links. He tackled a buddy into a lake during a pickup football game at a golf course back in 2012.
