The Patriots signed wide receivers Cole Stanford and Brian Tyms, director of player personnel Nick Caserio announced Sunday morning during his news conference at Gillette Stadium.

Stanford played a hybrid role at Cal Poly, where he caught 43 passes for 891 yards and four touchdowns during his four years with the Mustangs. He also ran the ball 54 times for 314 yards with one touchdown.

Tyms went undrafted out of Florida A&M in 2012. He has spent time with the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns.
