Patriots Training Camp Attendance: Josh Boyce, Matthew Slater Return

Matthew SlaterFOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots finally were starting to run out of offensive skill position players, but they saw two wide receivers return to training camp practice on Thursday.

Wide receivers Josh Boyce and Matthew Slater returned to practice in full pads. Linebacker Chris White also returned after missing training camp on Thursday.

Wide receivers Aaron Dobson and Jeremy Gallon, cornerback Jemea Thomas, linebacker Deontae Skinner and defensive tackle Dominique Easley were present for practice, but they were not in uniform and didn’t practice. It was the first time Thomas was spotted since the first training camp session.

Running back Tyler Gaffney, linebacker Cameron Gordon, tight end Michael Hoomanawanui, center Bryan Stork and offensive tackle Chris Martin were absent for practice. This was Gordon’s first missed practice of the summer.

The Patriots were in full pads, but tight end Rob Gronkowski and cornerback Alfonzo Dennard were not full participants.
