The Boston Red Sox offense has not heated up with the warm St. Petersburg, Fla., weather.

The Red Sox were shut out by the Tampa Bay Rays 3-0 on Saturday night, making it the fifth consecutive defeat for the club. The Red Sox are hitting .210 and have averaged just 2.8 runs per game over the five-game skid. Boston’s pitching staff has kept the Sox in games, but the offense hasn’t provided enough run support.
