Tiger Woods has made more than a billion dollars in his golf career, but don’t expect to get much of it if you’re a valet driver or a waiter.
Rick Reilly was with Conan O’Brien promoting his new book, “Tiger, Meet My Sister…And Other Things I Probably Shouldn’t Have Said,” and he told the red-headed late-night TV host that if there’s one tipper that’s worse than Michael Jordan, it’s Tiger Woods.
“You need a court order to get Tiger’s wallet open,” Reilly said. “It’s unbelievable.”
Reilly, of course, retired from the world of sports journalism, but before he starts sipping macchiatos in Rome, he wanted to share his stories.
The 56-year-old also went on to talk about how Phil Mickelson is a great Samaritan compared to Tiger. He gives homeless people umbrellas in rainy weather and large tips to children who run lemonade stands.
With that said, one must really wonder how devastating it was for Woods to have to cough up $100 million to his ex-wife after their divorce.
Maybe it was karma from years of bad tipping.
