The marquee NHL trade of the offseason so far was made between the Anaheim Ducks and Vancouver Canucks.

The Ducks acquired star center Ryan Kesler on June 27 in exchange for forward Nick Bonino, defenseman Luca Sbisa and the 24th overall pick in the 2014 NHL draft, as well as a swap of 2014 third-round selections.

In a behind-the-scenes look at the Canucks’ internal trade discussions on the Kesler deal, general manager Jim Benning and his staff discuss the players they could receive in return for the veteran center (including Nick Bonino), in addition to separate trades that Vancouver could make with other teams.
