david priceMajor League Baseball’s non-waiver trade deadline is fast approaching, and there are several high-profile starting pitchers involved in rumors.

One big name that could be on the move is Philadelphia Phillies ace Cole Hamels, who’s 5-5 with a 2.57 earned run average for the struggling NL East club. The 30-year-old is available, but the price to acquire him is steep, per FOX Sports’ Jon Morosi. Hamels is signed through the 2018 season, so there is no rush to trade him.

David Price is another No. 1 starter who could potentially be available. USA Today’s Bob Nightengale reports that the St. Louis Cardinals are interested in the Tampa Bay Rays starter, but acquiring the 28-year-old would probably force the defending NL champions to part with top prospect Oscar Taveres and more.

Two other starters who could possibly be dealt are Red Sox veterans John Lackey and Jon Lester, per multiple reports. Lester is in the final year of his contract and Lackey has only one more season remaining on his deal.

Which high profile starter is most likely to be traded by Thursday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline? Vote in the poll below.
