Derek Jeter’s final game at Yankee Stadium will be a priceless experience for baseball fans, but attending the affair will be anything but.

Fans will have to reach deep — very deep — into their pockets if they want to see their beloved shortstop in New York’s final regular-season home game on Sept. 25 against the Baltimore Orioles. With the game more than two months away, tickets have already reached astronomical heights with a luxury suite selling for $244,202 on StubHub.

Let that six-figure amount sink in for a second.

It really doesn’t get much better from there as a pair of infield seats down the third-base line are listed for an absurd $97,737 and there are even a couple of outfield grandstand seats going for a cool $24,482.50.

Whether the Yankees can make a playoff push in the second half of the season and delay Jeter’s retirement remains to be seen, but regardless, that’s some serious Re2pect –and some serious cha-ching — to see Jeter in pinstripes one final time before he hangs up his cleats.
