Todd FrazierAfter taking home the Home Run Derby crown in 2013, Oakland Athletics slugger Yoenis Cespedes won the event yet again with an impressive effort at the event in 2014.

In doing so, Cespedes became the first player to repeat as Derby champion since Ken Griffey Jr. in 1998 and 1999.

This year’s participants featured five players each from the National and American Leagues, including young NL stars like Giancarlo Stanton and Yasiel Puig. The AL would shine brighter, however, collectively hitting 57 total homers while the AL managed just 25.

The night featured some long bombs and impressive feats of strength from some of the game’s most promising players.
