Chicago Cubs phenom Javier Baez continues to wow with his power.

The 21-year-old rookie was at it again Monday afternoon against the New York Mets, absolutely crushing his fifth home run in 14 games since being called up to the big leagues. Baez’s latest blast came in the ninth inning, as he launched a mammoth two-run shot into Citi Field’s second deck in left field to give the Cubs a 5-1 lead.

At 434 feet, it was the longest home run of Baez’s career.

While Baez’s power has certainly excelled at the big-league level, the middle infielder has struggled with plate discipline since being called up on Aug. 5, striking out 24 times in 60 at-bats, while hitting just .233.
